"Unless one is born again, he can not see the Kingdom of Heaven." - John 3:3
Our personal relationship with God begins the moment when we put our faith in Jesus for our salvation. It is then that we are, as Jesus says, "born again," or in the words of Paul, made a "new creation" in Christ, (2 Corinthians 5:17). Just as our physical birth is just the beginning of our life, so also is our spiritual birth just the beginning of our life in Christ. Birth is the beginning, and from there we grow.
While some come to church not knowing Jesus as their personal savior, many walk into a church looking for a place to call home among brothers and sisters in Christ. Regardless of whether we are new believers or have walked with Him for decades, we are all in the process of growing, and this growth has been designed by God to take place with others. There will always be brothers and sisters who have something to impart to us in our walk with the Lord, as will there be those who can learn from our own life and study of His word.
Below are a series of studies called "Transferable Concepts," written by Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ. These studies have blessed thousands of people in their spiritual growth. Each study is in digital format and designed to be read from any device. At the end of each study is a study guide with questions and scriptures to look up.
We're confident these studies will be a blessing to anyone seeking to grow in their walk with the Lord, and even more fruitful when discussed with others. If you're interested in going through any or all of these studies, go ahead and get started today! If you're fellowshipping with us here at Calvary, Pastor Rich or another person in leadership would love to sit down with you every time you finish one of these studies to talk about what you've learned and how it applies to your life personally. Please let us know when you're getting started and we'll schedule a time to meet together once you've finished the study questions at the end of each topic.
May the Lord bless you as you seek to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ!
